The Public Library Foundation of Haywood County is a charitable, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization, incorporated in 1983 to receive funds to strengthen and expand our local public library system. An independent Board of Directors, selected to represent the diverse population that the library serves, governs the Library Foundation.
The Foundation’s mission is to work closely with library administration to identify needs the Foundation can fund, above and beyond basic services provided by the Library's operating budget and ongoing activities supported by the Friends of the Library.
Gifts to the Foundation may be made in many forms and may be designated to a specific branch location, collection, or funtion:
Donations may be mailed to the Foundation at 678 S Haywood St, Waynesville, NC 28786. Checks should be made out to HCPL Foundation. Donations can also be made online by clicking here!
