North Carolina Digital Library

The North Carolina Digital Library, powered by OverDrive, is a free resource available to Haywood County Library cardholders. With a diverse collection of eBooks, audiobooks, and more, you are sure to find something to enjoy. Log in with your library card number and PIN (the last 4 digits of your phone number). Download the Libby app on your mobile device for ease of accessing North Carolina Digital Library. In addition to eBooks and audiobooks, you will be able to check out digital magazines and movies. Libby may also be accessed through the web browser by clicking here.

North Carolina Kids Digital Library

The North Carolina Kids Digital Library offers eBooks, audiobooks, streaming videos, and Read-Alongs. This collection was designed for youth ages pre-K through 4th grade and includes picture books, youth fiction, youth non-fiction, and more. Browsing may be done by subject, format, or genre, and the advanced search feature allows filtering by availability, language, date added, and much more. Titles are accessed via NC Kids and may be accessed from your desktop. Mobile and tablet users may download the Libby app for iOS and Android.

Hoopla

Hoopla provides access to digital eBooks and audiobooks, another free resource available to Haywood County Public Library cardholders. Title subjects include a variety of topics, including language learning, history, biography, classic literature, and more. Hoopla is compatible with all popular e-readers.

To access hoopla, register at https://www.hoopladigital.com/. Click on GET STARTED TODAY!

When registering for the first time, type in NC LIVE as your library. You must type it into the search field for it to appear. Log in using the email address and password used to set up the account.

When you have your account set up, download the hoopla Digital app on your smartphone to access your titles on the go!
