2018 Youth Summer Reading Program: LIBRARIES ROCK!

LIBRARIES ROCK this summer for the 2018 Summer Reading Program!! 
Kids can register anytime beginning June 1st in the Waynesville children's department or at the Canton front desk


This year participants will receive Reading Challenge Cards. Complete & turn in the card to receive a free book pick!

Cards may be turned in at any point after July 1st. 

Finish by July 24th for a free family ticket to the Asheville Tourists Baseball Game on July 24th!

Bonus Prizes:  Your name will be entered in a drawing for other great prizes, such as passes to the Canton Pool, Waynesville Recreation Center,  Fantasy Golf, Tweetsie Railroad, Santa’s Land, Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, and WNC Nature Center. 

Bonus Prize winners will be contacted the week of August 6th.

This year, due to limited space and safety concerns, some programs will require tickets. Tickets will be available one hour before the program begins on a first come, first served basis. These programs are marked with Due to space limitations, large groups (i.e summer camps) cannot be accommodated.

*** No events will be held at the Waynesville Library from July 23rd - August 4th due to the Friends of the Library Book Sale.
