You’re invited to view a photo exhibit of historic Haywood County photographs at the Waynesville Library during the months of August and September. The community’s assistance is needed to identify the people and places pictured. Images are from the Sherrill Studio Photograph collection at WCU’s Hunter Library and depict the region during the first half of the 20th century. Exhibit is in the North Carolina Room. Make a model robotic hand to demonstrate how the bones, muscles, and tendons allow us to move each individual finger separately or together at the same time. Access this virtual program video and recipes beginning Monday, September 26 at https://my.nicheacademy.com/haywoodcountypl. This program is ideal for children ages 6 and up. Take & Make Kits will be available at all library locations, while supplies last. Kits cannot be reserved over the phone.
