News Flash: Will the Youth Librarian Have to Eat a Bug???

The June circulation report shows that a total of 9,286 children’s books have been checked out so far. That means that a total of 10,714 books need to be checked out during the month of July in order to reach our goal of 20,000 books. Will Ms. Carole have to eat that cricket??? You can decide—READ!

As you may know, Carole Dennis, Youth Services Librarian has vowed to eat a bug* "If the total number of juvenile books checked out from all four branches of the Haywood County Public Library system during the months of June and July 2008 reaches 20,000"

Due to the Friends of the Library Book Sale, we will have NO story times in Waynesville from July 21 – August 3. Also, there will be no story times at Canton, Fines Creek or Maggie Valley from August 4 – August 17.
